• Is a scanner that checks for applications that are not up to date and may contain security vulnerabilities. We have discussed this in the past, but not on this podcast.

• The party is not over yet, but this is a sign that the “free ride” Rich that we Mac users have enjoyed may not last forever.

• Hard to believe, and sad – according to Panda, 58% of PCs in the US are infected with some sort of Malware – Australia, the UK, and Canada are not far behind, all hovering at about 50%

• Even harder to believe – Malware that steals money from your bank account and the MODIFIES your online bank statement to covet its tracks while it steals more. Thanks to Tom Cannan for sending this link

• On a lighter note – antivirus software is good, but the “trekky nerds” will like this one – it is in Klingon.
